Well what is there to say.,My name is Phil aka Phillyb.I was raised in Niagara falls Ny. Now living in Buffalo Ny. Been to alot of places lived in alot of places. So much to see and so little time. As far as my music goes I have been playing Bass Guitar for about 15 years now . But started my music studies when i was in 5th grade. I begain on Brass and got interested in all aspects of music.through the years I learned diverse Instruments and music theory for example Timpiani drums.That is when my Music teacher threw me a bass and told me to take it home for awhile and play with it. He showed me how to tune it and that was it. Through the years i picked it up and put it down.Learning how to play 6 string guitar. But eventualy went back to bass.Through the years I played in only a couple of bands didnt know what i wanted in music, The last Project I was in before Skinbound was a band called Electric Birth. Took a couple years off from the scene. And then in mid 2005 I joined a project called Skinbound until january of 09 I decided to leave to expand my musical career. I ENJOY using SCHECTER Basses. Berhinger Amps, Peavey Cabs,Of course my little rack mount toys as well. I preffer Elixir strings. Cables I use Monster cable,And for my comfort I kick it back in my adidas. Dickies clothing and Lucky 13 clothing ,As far as the music scene we introduced ourselves in Jan of 06 And now it being Exactly 1 year later. WOW!! Is all I can say.I am so Gratefull to have had the chance to play with some of my favorite bands . To only name a few Like Kittie,In this moment,D.O.P.E and Bleed The Sky, and all the other bands on the Summer of Sin Tour of 06, Silent Civilian, Hemlock As well as a list of other national acts. Besides the national acts. The Local bands!!! Its like this i get more amped some times just thinkin of the other bands we are playin with besides the fact that We are playing too. And to All of the friends A.K.A The Fans YOU GUYS ARE WHAT IT IS ABOUT . MY DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR YOU GUYS.It Has never mattered to me if the venues we play are packed or if it is only 25 people in front of us we do it for the love and thats why you are there for the love of the music. I would also like to say if you are wondering about my personal life well if you are a real friend to me i guess you would know the awnser to that. I have a love for my music and my family and friends.Oh yeah SUPPORT THE ARTS MOTHER FUCKERS "you give nothing... you get nothing"
