WHEN YOU SEE A WILDFIRE BEING PUT OUT BY A HELICOPTER? THANK A MAN FOR FIGHTING IT, LIKE MY HUSBAND!!!! Ok, so many of you know who we are and what we are about that I decided to redo this thing. Ron has not retired since we fall into that same life hold that so many people today do and that is living paycheck to paycheck and not even making it to "Main Street" America", Whatever that is. About the next election, everyone is worried about the way everyone is voting, I just say, vote, be proud to be an American just vote, but also get down on your knees and pray cause in the end HE is the one who is gonna make the final say in whatever is gonna happen. Ron has not been home since May and it is now Oct.the snow is ready to fly again, and I spent the summer hating life. My mother came out this summer and we enjoyed a wonderful week together. My youngest sister (who always has this wonderful garden) sent me her secret recipe for salsa but my little salsa garden didn't put out enough to put any up. My older sister retired from teaching and I hope with all of my heart that she finally takes time for herself. She has given to so many others for so many years that it would be nice for her to just sit back and relax for herself. We are the type of sisters that don't live in each others pockets to have to be close but in my heart when I think of "us" I think of the 3 Mooney girls always. Never has been and never will be any like us. I remember the only boys I ever hit were when we were kids and that was in defense of my sisters, hummmm, think I would do it again if need be too. HA!! My Dad was my hero, he was the only one who ever really got me and knew why I needed adventure but my mom she was my best friend cause she knew why I needed the next story in my head. My feet have to keep moving and that is why Ron and I make such a good pair, because we are always looking for the next chapter to see and write and lock away. I have had the opportunity to meet and be friends with the most amazing people! So everyone I meet are the people I'd like to meet.GOD-He would have to be top of my list!!!Am going to meet him someday soon though. I just want to see his face and thank him, that's all I want to do, Thank him.Met Ronald Reagan and went to his library, was not disappointed, everyone should go. Written where he lies is this "I know in my heart that man is good, that what is right will always eventually triumph, and there is purpose and worth to each and every life." AWESOME, and ELEGANT!! He is a man I will always truely miss as he made an impact on my life. I know why Mrs. Reagan loved him as much as she did and still does. The day that I met my prince was the happiest day of my life, besides the day I had the girls which is not equal to becoming a grandmother. Isn't God good to give us so many days that outweigh each other? He takes the sorrow and pushes it to the recesses of our mind and puts the happiness right up there! So when I meet "ANYONE" that is a wonderful day!!
