About Me

Andrew Huggan is a singer/songwriter from Central Scotland. He has been playing various instruments since he was about five years old and has, in the last few years, started singing and playing the guitar. He has also started to write his own songs.
Andrew has played informally in various pubs around Scotland, and performs regularly at an open mic night at the Settle Inn in Stirling. In the summer of 2008, he was asked to perform a set at a Runrig pre-gig party at the Bongo Club in Edinburgh.
Andrew performed two of his self-penned songs; "Take Me Away Across the Sea" and "Lonely Lonely Night", on BBC Radio nan Gaidheal during the Hebridean Celtic Festival 2007. He also recently helped to raise money for children's charity "Cash for Kids" by taking part in Clyde FM's Busk for Kids scheme.
Outside of Andrew's own music, he is often found attending lots of gigs and festivals all over Scotland and has gained a few "aliases" over the years, the most common one being "Bandanaman!" He got this title as he is always seen at gigs sporting a blue bandana, and more often than not dancing the night away to whatever bands he is seeing!
