About Me

A composer, a colleague of mine used to say that everyone carries at least one song in his soul. Some may carry even more, but there is one in there for sure. And sooner or later the song comes out.
Imagine that the time for your song has come. Like a new-born it has to be attended - its navel cord has to be cut, the baby has to be washed, dried, dressed… Oh, well, if we - the doctor (myself) and the nurse (myself again) were next to you in that eventful moment - NO PROBLEMO! But since you've probably been alone when your song came to this world we hope you've done your obligatory job - to record it. Some people know the notes and notate the song – great! But not necessarily. Knowing the notes used to be compulsory for the composers ages ago but nowadays this isn’t a must.(Sir Paul McCartney never believed in notes, as well. So what?!) Today a record on a tape, HD, flash or some other carrier you had at hand is enough. Even better: the recording registers something more significant than tones - emotion.
So did you tape your song? Great!!! What’s next? Sure it can stay this way forever. This happens too - you get in a studio, sing it or play it once and you enter the history. But those moments of glory are rare and we both know it. As a rule the first record is meant to capture the idea and it sets the beginning of a long journey that takes you through hard work and effort. A journey that can sometimes bring you to the top (or not), but ALWAYS leads to a state of full satisfaction. Did you ever think of getting something real out of your song? Is it something you could never afford yourself to do? Or maybe you never met the right person to give you a hand?
And so, what do WE do about your song?
We'll get started with a talk about style. Your style. Unquestionably the record you'll send me via Internet will tell me a lot about you and your dreams. After all that's my job, right? It's to understand you before you even speak. But the best for your song would be if you told me about the way you've imagined it. I will give you the advice and options to release it, keeping your wish above it all.
Then it's my turn. Once we specify the basic line, the arrangement, the selection of instruments and musicians, the record itself and the postproduction is all my concern. I have a perfect studio, hardware and software at my disposal (a rich sample library included) and a first-rate studio musicians with long professional experience. I'm a pianist myself (I play the piano since I was 6) and I'm capable of playing over 10 other instruments like drums, percussion, guitar and even french horn. If you wish to have a full-size symphonic orchestra you could have it. We provide the opportunity to record your music with the well known Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, even if your budget is low. If you prefer to sing your song by yourself do send me your vocal, recorded synchronously with the arrangement and I will get the best of it, using the newest technologies in the studio industry. Of course I can arrange a singer for you, if you wish so. The artists I work with are affirmed professionals and you can hear their demo-reels so you can choose - like on a real casting - YOUR performer!
Unquestionably we can develop also your ideas in the instrumental music. Due to my professional help some artists released series of CDs with instrumental music. The german painter Walter Angerer was one of those artists – I already produced for him over 10 CDs with chamber-, piano- and symphonic music only after his tape-recorded schedules. Last, but not least: by the virtue of Internet we will be able to communicate continuously and you will be a part of the whole working process of creating your song!
So you'd now ask about the financing. It makes no sense if a professional is paid as an amateur, right? But the standard difference between our countries is still quite big so covering the production expences would really be the last problem you might have. You'd better make a list of the radiostations you'll send your record/song to. Or if you want to do the record just for yourself or your friends - buy some good wine and invite them!
