In Misery

The band you may or may not have known as In Misery started in the summer of 2003 in a place known as the Valley in the Los Angeles Area. This was an area at that time devoid of thrash and most of all crossover. Starting out as a punk band, In Misery was actually formed out of the ashes of a punk band called No Support. Sal and Chris, wanting to write some kickass music in the vein of punk and thrash metal, formed In Misery as an attack against the music scene in the Valley at the time which was predominantly emo and screamo (before metalcore got really big). Sharing the stage with many local punk and metal acts from all over Southern California, the band played many shows in the 4 years they were active.
After going through several bassists they eventually ran into Franky who is still with the band to this day. As of now the band has no drummer and is currently under hiatus due to conflicting schedules and other obligations (i.e. work, other bands). When, hopefully sometime soon, they all have a chance to get together and jam again (and maybe find another drummer) the band will play some shows and make some more music to pit to.
Once again, if you didn't read or can't (then this won't mean a thing to you) WE ARE UNDER INDEFINITE HIATUS. We all have other bands and obligations and are too lazy to look for another drummer. Once again, WE ARE UNDER INDEFINITE HIATUS. Stop asking us to play shows.
