Sonata Rec is Heidrun Schramm, who works in the fields of electroacoustic music, installation, radio art and video. She is a collector of sounds and noises, which are the basis of her music. She generates it from field-recordings, syntheziser, cello or other interesting objects. With her conceptual audio project SONATA REC she investigates particular themes by using sonata form for the composition. She currently lives and works in Berlin.
