My name is Rachel (after Mr. Rachel Bolan from Skid Row; well, depending on which parent you ask). I'm from a town literally the size of a postage stamp. It can get pretty boring. Especially since it's in Oklahoma (the only good thing about it is ROCKLAHOMA). I've lived here most of my life (although I was born in Arkansas). I'm a Junior at Copan High (GO HORNETS!). I'm also taking a couple of college courses at Rogers State University in Bartlesville.
I've got one brother, who is pretty much the craziest little kid in the world. I'll put it this way: his first concert was GWAR at the age of 10 years old. He's never looked back since. My mom is one of those moms who doesn't care how loud you play your music. Not to mention she's OBSESSED with Vince Neil. She's a stay-at-home mom, but she subs occasionally at my school, where all of my friends call her mom too cause she's just cool like that. My dad is away working in Nebraska. He just recently returned from Iraq where he was doing environmental waste clean-up. He's the real Okie in the family. He listens to mostly country (yuck!), but likes some rock. He took my brother to see Metallica (again, yuck!). He finally decided that he liked Motley Crue after seeing them live with my mom.
Aside from family & friends (I mean you Frankie, Hannah, Brian, Ashley, etc.) I love music, mainly 80's hair/glam metal. I listen to some new stuff too though. I have A LOT of favorite bands. My favorite thing to do is go to concerts. I want to become a photographer. I'm on Myspace all the time (again, Oklahoma is boring!). I use it to talk to my friends & family & to support my bands. I love hearing and finding new music, so I welcome band requests.
