About Me
I was born and raised in San Antonio. I went to Leon Valley Elementary, Earl Rudder Middle School, and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1997. I didn't make the best grades, but they weren't the worst either. I've always been a conservative. I didn't make good grades, I made good enough grades. However, one time I did make the Honor Roll, just to prove to everyone I could. School was fun, but the classes got in the way.
I joined Cub Scouts at age 4, and started as a Tiger Cub. I was awarded my Eagle Scout in the Fall of 1996. While growing up, I was very embarrassed about being in Boy Scouts. It is now something I am extremely proud of.
I have been married once, divorced the same. It was like most life lessons for me. Learned the hard way. But, thankfully, a lot of good came from it. For one, I have a perfect little boy. Gage Christopher, now 7, is my reason for being. In addition, I gained an immense amount of wisdom.
I have had several career paths. My first job was through scouts. I started at 15, working at the council summer camp. I worked in the C.O.P.E. area, which consisted of trust building exercises, rappelling, rockclimbing, and a Ropes Course. My favorite was, and will always be, the pamper pole. (Google it) In high school I worked at Structure (now Express Men), in Ingram Park and North Star Malls. Shortly after graduation, I started working in the pharmacy. Delivered prescriptions citywide, before getting my Pharmacy Technician certification. Did that for about 6 years until getting into my current field, radio. I work with Border Media, San Antonio. Specifically for News/Talk 550 KTSA, and ESPN Radio 1250 The Zone. I work a lot, but love what I do.
I am very superstitious. I knock on wood, pick up pennies (but, only if they're heads up). I will turn around, and go the long way to avoid a black cat. I wish upon shooting stars, and eyelashes (but, only non-plucked lashes). I can be OCD about some things. This is good and bad. Occasionally, I'm not about things I should be, and am about things I shouldn't. Most people don't notice...
