About Me

ALTITUDE EP NOW AVAILABLE ON iTUNES
ALTITUDE EP ALSO AVAILABLE AT CDBABY.COM/NATHANWINSTON
Open your ears, friends - there’s a new voice you’ll want to get to know. With an infectious smile and a genuine southen demeanor, Nathan Winston doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously. He’s just as likely to to embarass himself with a self-deprecating joke as he is to break into a song and dance in public if you wait long enough. Ridiculous might even be a better way of describing it. The music, however, is a different story.
Fused with a dynamic vocal range and smooth melodic feel, this Texas born singer/songwriter is a fox in sheep’s clothing. If you look closely, you’ll find a subtle confidence and an earnest heart behind the humor that thrives on the moments in life that make you realize that this is it... for better or worse... this is IT.
"There’s so many different sides of life that utterly move me. Some are exhilarating, hilarious, and fun while others cut you to the core of heartache and vulnerability," Nathan comments. "Each song I write is really just an effort to capture the moment that makes me see life as the amazing, precious, and fragile bit of time that it is."
With the upcoming release of his first studio recording, the Altitude EP, things are going to be picking up for the 24 year old. "Even though the songs are relatively new," says Nathan, "this record has been waiting inside me for years. It’s going to be such an amazing moment to finally be able to hand someone a CD and say ’Here’s a piece of me that I want to share with you.’"
Produced by the multi-talented Dan Franklin at his studio in southern California, the Altitude EP boasts four unique new songs blended seemlessly together. From the anthemic first track "Altitude" blasting with resilience in the face of heartbreak to the intimate ballad "Closer" with it’s sweet, almost tender simplicity, the new album will be one to savor. Look for its upcoming release in the summer of 2007. Tell your friends to tell their friends. There’s something really special on the horizon and this is only the start...
