MP Forum Project

Valmor: "One day I was browsing the Mike Portnoy Forum and I saw this interesting thread about the music that WE did. Everybody plugged their bands on it and I helped keep it alive for a while, until someone threw in the idea of all these talented musicians gathering to write new songs. Lightbulb went overdrive and I knew I had to do it. So I started a new thread and set a few ground rules. We'd accept compositions and split the instruments around, till we get 10 songs down as a virtual album. I'd take the position of organizing the forumers and producing the tracks, taking the layers sent to me by e-mail. By now works are pretty advanced and since we have a rough mix of the first finished track, I decided to start this page so people can keep up with the project. But the final mixes will only be final when the tenth song is done, so stay tuned!"
