Calin

Calin has been musically inclined since he was a wee toddler. Using (and ruining) mom's pots and pans as drums was his favourite pastime. He has been singing in front of audiences since the young age of 3. Much of his early musical developement was done in the church. Calin studied music at a well respected jazz school in Vancouver, BC. Canada; Capilano College. While there, he was part of the elite vocal ensemble, Nite Cap. After his studies he worked as the music director for Victory Christian Centre in Surrey, BC. Canada. He later decided to study audio engineering at the well known Vancouver Film School. Calin has worked with many well respected musicians and singers like Ron Kenoly, Steve McPherson from Hillsong, Wayne Huirua from the Parachute Band, Marco Barrientos, Danilo Montero, Roberto Torres, and many others. Calin has been involved in many bands and ensembles of various genres from A Cappella jazz to Latin Orchestras. He is currently part of a vocal quintet named Soli and also bass player and lead singer of Sonora Kings. He is actively involved working as a singer, songwriter, and producer, working with various artists and churches while slowly developing his own material... PS.
