I cracked my head open one day on a marshall stack. I
regained consciousness long enough to see that some
botnix had spilled out across the floor from the wound
above my ear. And there they appeared, like three
soldiers of rock 'n roll, vomited from the confines
of my brain. Slowly they shook off the meningeal
afterbirth with thunderous bursts of guitar, bass, and
drums, as I lay on the floor looking on in disbelief.
And the sound. The sound was..holy shit it was
fucking rock 'n roll!! And loud. The thundering
rhythm hit me in the chest like a hammer as blistering
feedback evolved into deceptively melodious themes,
conjuring images of distant lands haunted by the
ghosts of societal blunders. The last thing I
remember is seeing one of them looking for my secret
stash. And the bastard found it! Overcome by the
haze emanating from my brain, I drifted off upon the
enduring rhythm of the band..and I dreamt of frontier
girls and world news.
