About Me

You know your a bass player when you catch yourself explaining to somebody that: "Jaco died for our sins so that modern bass players are free to play more and be heard" and you realize that you are not at all joking.
I've discovered the Bass 14 years ago at age 16. I then started my first band in Ashkelon along with Tal Caspi, Avi Szefler and Dani - the Non-Believers. We all sucked, but it sure was fun! I played my first ever concert in the Afridar Center at age 17, I still remember it like it was yesterday. I also played with Avi and Elad Dgani in a more serious project, however we had no drummer and never played any shows.
After serving in the Israeli Navy for three years, plus another year of shameful Bass negligence, I joined my best friend's band - ICKI PATTTANG!!! - where I played along with Leor Nefesh, Oren Danieli, Guy Marcus, and for a short while - Yarden Ben Dor. I still have the CD cover poster hanging on the wall. After about a year together, a few low quality recordings and one show in Ashdod we each went our separate ways - I went to study up north in Tel Hai College in the Upper Galilee.
My first year year of college I played with 2 kids from kibbutz Misgav Am - Dan and Binyamin. On my second and third year Amicam Bar Gil and I formed Exsus, which later became Diplopia, along with Avital Zeltenraich, Ziv Tamari and Raveh Forshlagger. This was truly my first great band, highlights included playing opening acts on really big stages for such as Mooky, Mashina and Barry Sacharoff.
After graduation I moved to LA for a couple of years. I studied for a few months under the expertise of Bunny Brunel. I had my first shot towards greatness - I joined the Leor Project along with Leor Hode, Danniel Moor, Brian Holt, Michael Foreman and Mor Elkaslassy. We actually had an agent and a manager. Unfortunately the manager turned out to be BS, the project got us nowhere, and after less then a year we broke up.
Daniel Moore continued on a solo career, and I've recorded four tracks on his album, "Thoughts of a TV Chair"- now available at amazon, before leaving the states.
Upon returning to Israel I attended grad school in Eilat where I started a cover band alongside my old friend Amicam, drummer Nisan and rhythm guitarist Elad. We just managed to find a singer when I gave up my grad studies and moved to the Gush Dan area, where I joined old band mates Rave and Avital's band, Blackbox, for a short while. I then played with JazzicA for about a year.
Today I reside in nice little moshav Talmei Menashe near Rishon Le'tzion.
