Well, MySpace may be allowing back the Playlist players. I am gonna add in my code & see if it works. Just in case it doesn't, I am saving the paragraph below. And all my links below to my Playlists on my website will still work fine, ya just have to copy & paste the URL-- use a sep. tab or window, that way you can still stay on MySpace or whatever. Feel free to bookmark 'em.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hmm, well MySpace is in the process of blocking/deleting all of the Playlist.com players-- a shame. I don't really understand why-- since listeners can't d/l the tracks-- I consider myself to be the DJ of my MySpace page. Oh, well. You can still listen to my various Playlists while visiting MySpace and/or surfing the Internet by going to my website pages. You can do that by copying & pasting whatever URL below you wish. Each page is auto-loading & auto-shuffle & has links to all of my other Playlists. MySpace doesn't seem to be letting me set up links, so just copy the URL, open a new tab or window, & paste the URL into the tab address window, & load the page. OR you can just Google "ClubSaturnCat" or "Club SaturnCat".
I recommend you start w/ my "Best Of The Best Playlist":

In a nutshell: I'm an archaeologist (disabled), first-generation punk, liberal, environmentalist, depressive, outdoor-sy person, from a poor background (& still poor), second-generation Scottish-American, proud nerd-- yep, yer all-round nutloaf.
Being a first-generation punk & having a punk philosophy are probably the most basic things about me. Then, being a scientist. Then being into music-- as listener & player. I am a big-time environmentalist & life-long liberal, & support equal rights for all-- women, gays, aliens (both extra-national & extra-terrestrial (just a bit o' humor there)), and the disabled. I also have clinical depression (which is both genetic & situational) & have a lot of back pain cuz of my work as an archaeologist, both of which affect my life on a daily basis.
I believe in the America that is written on The Statue of Liberty, 'Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.' And the America that supports things like sending up the Hubble Space Telescope. But there are a lot of things I don't care for about this country: Republicanism, war-mongering, capitalism-- at least the heartless variety, which puts money first and people last. People should be able to pursue happiness in this country, not worry about basics like food, healthcare, a warm place to sleep-- let alone be able to pursue their dreams. I face these things even tho I have worked since I was 16 and was/am a professional because I became disabled in the course of my work. I don't feel that this country supports it's disabled workers fairly. Even tho I am only in the middle of my life, I must struggle to make ends meet on a meagre disablity 'stipend' and then try to forge ahead and try to re-invent myself somehow career-wise. Yipes.
In spite of these gray parts of my life, I really do enjoy a laugh, and enjoy the escapism of movies and selective TV, the wonderful companionship of my cat, the beautiful landscapes of mountains, forest, & desert; birdies, music, etc.
Please Make A Donation If You Wish...
As I mentioned, I am disabled. I became so as a result of doing archaeology as a Site Supervisor for a site in Ireland. I hurt my back, which has become progressively worse until now I am basically bed-bound. I was considered inoperable in 2002; more recently there have been new developments in back surgery, but these are still in the experimental stage. (I knew a fellow archaeologist who was similarly injured & became paralyzed as a result of his operation.) It is possible I could get an operation for my lower back, though my upper back is also very bad due to several car accidents. I do have Medicare, which pays for medication & for visits to my general doctor, & if I can have an operation, Medicare (I believe) will pay for that. But even getting updated MRIs & X-Rays would cost me co-payments which I cannot afford because of how little disability pays. I worked for 19 years as an archaelogist before hurting my back. I have been trying for years to find some kind of work which I can do on computer from my bed, but have found nothing. Since I was injured 'in the line of duty', as it were, contributing to world culture, I feel that I am justified in asking for donations. So, I am trying out this PayPal button, which would enable kind people to make donations if they wish. (I also am using an option which enables folks to leave a note if they wish with their donation). Thank you in advance, Kind Strangers!

Here is my LiveJournal site. My profiles are similar at both sites, but that's where I do my journal, not at MySpace. It's publically viewable, but only 'Friends' can make comments. Of course, I respect web anonymity & expect the same.
SaturnCat's Tales
http://saturncat.livejournal.com/
Why Did I 'Friend'/Add You?: My 'Friends' list consists of folks, artists (musical or visual), and/or bands I know & like, and also folks whose icons just looked super-cool & I simply had to have them on my 'Friends' list, or folks w/ cool or just OK icons and I liked their profiles and thought they were cool people. I also love Surrealistic Art, so I like to 'Friend' artists whose work I've encountered on one of my MySpace explorations (see my 'Favorites' listing)-- they are welcome to post their artwork in my 'Comments' section occasionally as a sort of gallery so that others may encounter it. One thing I love to do on MySpace is to start w/ one profile-- usually from my own Friends list, check that out, and then in turn, when I find an interesting icon/profile there, then check that out, and keep going on like that, following a thread and picking up new interesting folks as I go. It has 'taken' me to many places around the world on MySpace-- a sort of serendipitous way of finding cool people. But most of the threads can be traced back to people in my Friends List.

Quests In Llfe: For everyone in the world to have one of those cool but weird blue globe thingies on their front lawns, for everyone to have a lawn, for everyone to have a home; for me to have a home and garden (with a blue globe, pink flamingos, & lots of birdhouses); to be able to make ends meet, for me to somehow find a job (hopefully fulfilling) I can do in spite of my various disabilites; to be in a zombie movie like "Night of the Living Dead", only not filmed in Pennsylvania but in Maryland (only cuz I grew up there & the landscape is similar-- somehow must incorporate the eerie '17 year locust' sound); to finish learning to play Chopin's 'Ballade No. 4', to finish learning to play Erik Satie's 'Gnossienne No. 3', to grow an avocado tree, to visit the redwoods again, to someday meet Ray Bradbury, to turn back the clock for my back and be pain-free again, to get my PhD in archaeology, geo-archaeology, or archaeometry and/or get a 2nd Master's in geology or paleontology, and maybe a course in musical composition; to visit Mars, to pilot my own little spaceship in and around various beautiful nebulae (& film it), to live in London for a year or two, to be able to write a very cool Sci Fi story like Eric Frank Russell and/or Ray Bradbury, to be able to write poetry like Yeats, to bring my Grammom back to life again (this one makes me almost cry), to see my Great Aunt Bella again, to meet my Italian Grandfather, to somehow bring my Dad back and have a good yell at him for all the bad things he did to me and then forgive and embrace him (that one really does make me cry), to bring back all my Scottish and Irish relatives and ask them what it was like to live through (or die) at the time of the Irish Famine, for one of my Scottish relatives to teach me how to play the bagpipes, to finally find my Great Great Grandfather's grave in Dundee, to find my Great Grandfather's grave somewhere in Scotland, to find out if Stan Laurel's Dad and my Great Grandfather knew each other (one worked and one lived on the same street and probably drank at the same pub on that same street in Glasgow), to figure out how not to live my life on my sleeve-- maybe get a tatoo and wear it on my arm instead, ha-ha (there's a song in there somewhere)
