The story of Jay- City is a truly remarkable tale. Not just another kid rapper, Jay-City is on the verge of becoming the new prince of hip-hop. This Roselle, New Jersey , native is known for rapping towards the ladies both young and older crowds.Though he's only 16, Jay-City is a veteran in the rap game. At age 14, the young rapper made his first appearance as part of a boy group, where he impressed manager Kobie Brown who had a high ranking position at Sony Records. Soon the group broke up. "When LL was 16 or 17 years old, he was so mature when it came to his work. But when he was off the stage he was 100% a young adult. Jay-City is a real youngster but when it's time to work he transforms into a grown person. He's one of those gifted children."sinical considers Jay as gifted as Bow Wow, one of the most successful teen acts in recent history, so he expects big things to come from his debut CD. With a very small amount of help with writing Jay-City has been able to pen profanity-free lyrics because, as sinical explains, "These days in rap, kids don't have any role models. I knew it was time for him to come out because little girls from 11 to 18 don't have Bow Wow who is getting a little to old for that crowd. Jay-City is the perfect young artist to fill that void. I want Jay-City to represent a young black superstar."It's a throne Jay-City is willing, ready and able to accept. With his neat cornrows and his million dollar smile, he's got the hip-hop superstar look down pack. His upbeat tracks will have people bopping their heads and bouncing from beginning to end. In his young career he has worked with Mahhimid the son of kool from kool and the gang, he also has worked with one of the girls from the next white rapper T.V. show. Recently he worked a few of the girls from flavor of love T.V. show, and Melky Jean(Wyclef's sister). In addition to that, he has worked with Louis the 13th of Flavor Unit and also Harmony from the group She Says (Epic Records).This soon to be superstar sites Jay-z, Chris Brown, 2pac, Biggie, 50 Cent and P.Diddy as his influences.
