I was born and raised and Richardson Tx. I have been writing for over twelve years.My first works have appeared in Dallas Gazette and Garland Journal 04/03.I first started performing back in 1999 for different church's. The first church Restoration COGIC for church anniversaries and other functions.I have performed at various church's O'cliff Bible Fellowship Church (CREATYVE TYME) , Restoration COGIC open mic and Concorde Baptist open mic poetry night.My next open mic performance was at Arlington Arts museum.I have performed at various venues at Sankofa's Arts cafe. Forest Theatre, Black Images, Brooklyns Jazz, Firehouse Cafe,
Emabargos, Soda Gallery, Pugsleys Library, Ivy Lounge, Bill's Records and tapes, Spike Cafe, Jasmines, Bacarra's, Barnes and Nobles Jinx, Exposition park Cafe, and many others.I recited open mic at UTD College campus in Richardson Tx.I featured at Starbucks in Northpark Mall.I was a featured artist At Barnes & Nobles in Frisco 11-09-07. and in Plano and Aug 2006.I hosted at Billy G's night club 08-22-07 that was very nice. I had the oppurtunity to be one of the judges of a King and Queens Childrens pageant president of pageant dear friend Donna Davis 11-10-07I featured at Tephejezz Jazz 03/08. I featured at Mckinney Arts Festival 06/08.I was one of the featured artists at Absinthe Lounge, Prophet Bar & performed on the stage with Malcolm Jamal Warner at The Black Academy Of Arts And Letters on 09-27-08.I performed in Corsicana at Cafe Gourmet 10-03-08.I have released my cd in March of 08 amd it sold over 300 cd's. My cd's are still on sale so for those who haven't bought one don't delay get yours today !!!I hosted at Starbucks open mic for one year 05/07-05/08.I now host at It's A grind "Poetry On The Grind" every third Saturday of the month so circle these dates on your calendars 10-18-08, 11-15-08, 12-20-08, 01-17-08, etc
