SUBURBAN SUGAR: Thomas Windelborg - Vocals & Guitars Michael Winther Rasmussen - Guitars & Keys Søren Rasmussen - Bass Chad T. Charlton - DrumsSuburban Sugar was formed in 2005 when frontman Thomas Windelborg and bass player, Søren Rasmussen, started playing together...and writing songs. One year later Michael Winther Rasmussen began playing with the the guys on guitar. And at the end of 2007 drummer, Chad T. Charlton, joined the band.Very soon it became obvious that their project was more than just 4 guys messing about. Excellent reviews and overwhelming positive response from the public, made it obvious to the boys that their music held something special in it and could be a potential success in Denmark as well as internationally. In 2006 Suburban Sugar spent a lot of time writing songs. In the end of 2006 they established their own studio (Sub Sugar Studio in Copenhagen) and began the recording process. The band aims to keep the music easily comprehensible to everyone, without compromising the possibility to become deeply absorbed in the songs. Every song is inspired by a certain feeling that is put out there for the listener, and at the same time...the writing style leaves room for plenty of interpretation. This music is intense, clear-cut and honest. The songs are emotional explosions that aim straight for the heart, because that's exactly where they begin. In the end of 2006 and 2007 Suburban Sugar rocked stages around Denmark playing and testing the new songs. The feed back was overwhelming on all levels. The group fulfilled one of the promises to themselves that they had since day one... Taking the audience on a journey of impudent behavior as well as sentimental melancholic moods - creating an energetic performance! In 2008 the band was in the studio recording their debut album. In August 2008, the guys spent some time at Puk Studio in Jutland, Denmark, having Peter Iversen mixing and mastering the recorded tracks.Suburban Sugar has just released their first public EP in the beginning of 2009, as well, the debut album is set for release sometime in 2009."The highly emotional journey has been fantastic so far - and it has only just begun."
