First of all,and most importantly I am a Born Again Christian and I love the Lord. I am a gospel music singer and I was fortunate to be able to record a CD at the Daywind studios in Nashville which I am very proud of. I sing the old southern gospel songs which I love. I am an old rock-n-roller who has had a really screwed up life! I was called to preach waaayyy back in 1971 and after being licensed, I began to run. I found out the hard way that you can't run from God! I am a child of the 60's and I spent half my life one year in Vietnam on my class trip. Yep, that about sums it up! I have been married thrice (thats 3 times for all you college grads!); once divorced, once a widower and now married to Matt's mama. (Matt is my wife's son for all you college grads!) I love my wife who also happens to be my best friend and is very supportive of me. Politically I am a middle of the road, left leaning, right thinking democratic republican, etc, etc, etc. Did I mention that I love my wife very much? You know, being a Christian is not so hard. It's not like I cant have fun or anything. I am really "not right" sometimes, but I do love my wife! (did I mention that?) I sometimes live in my own little world, but that's ok, they know me there! God has a sense of humor and he loves you! No matter who you are or what you may have done, I can probably top it and he still loves me! He don't love the things I did, but he does love me and he has forgiven me. That being said, I still love rock & roll! ROCK ON!! GOD IS GOOD!!.. NEW STUFF: I started college last year! Yep, at my "advanced" age no less! I am now a sophmore (carrying a 3.5 GPA no less!). Oh yea, by the way I was given a pastoral appointment (I am a United Methodist)this year to Kingstree, SC where I have moved into the parsonage with my wife. I have three churches in my charge.
