About Me

Thiewz is a hard rock 'n fuckin' roll funky groovy bluesy guitar player... Listen to Thiewz's online album on http://thiewz.free.fr. He plays guitars, bass, keyboards and singing, drum arrangements, mixing and mastering. He loves playing several instruments to get the right groove going ! Thiewz most loves playing live of course. If there are any musicians out there who want to collaborate, they are more than welcome.Thiewz has been playing guitar since 1987, learning mainly from listening to records. He basically went wild when he discovered Appetite for Destruction and Lies, after growing up listening to Hendrix, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Cactus, Blackfoot... He has always loved playing drums, his uncle is the best drum teacher in Paris and took lessons with him, learning much. Thiewz has been more and more into funk (JB, Maceo Parker, Bootsy Collins,...) and jazz (Herbie Hancock, Brecker Brothers, Nils Landgren, Linley Marthe,...) He kinda finds interesting trying to mix all these influences all together ! In the same day he can listen AC/DC, which he thinks is the biggest and best sounding band ever with Guns 'n Roses, and then listen to Billy Cobham's Spectrum, then Maceo's Funkoverload and finish the evening with some nice indian tablas...See ya soon !
