If you're gonna do it - know WHY you're doin' it!!

About Me

I'm a bit of a Buffoon - I tend to talk a lot and eat a lot and joke a lot. I have a lovely wife Anna - who is probably the only person in the world patient enough to live with me. I have two cats - Bobby and Bella. Bella is really Anna's cat and is good. Bobby is my cat and often pees all over our carpets. What does that say about me? Oh - and I'm gonna be a Dad this year - we're into the last trimester and the goose (Anna) is getting fat! This year is gonna be a heck of a ride! Bring it on!I am a Chrispy (lingo for Christian) - I take my faith seriously and honestly believe that there is nothing finer in life than knowing Jesus. Everything I am and have today I owe to Him - He is my everything.I have been playing Guitar since I was 8 yrs old. I should have practiced more than I have, then I might actually be quite good. I am glad that I can play half-decent, it is my favourite thing I reckon. I now play mostly in church (www.mcfsuffolk.org) where Anna and I run the music team. I love giving my time to doing that - it gets my adrenaline pumping!I follow Football, and support Liverpool F.C. No other team comes close in terms of history, success and general class. Don't even try it Utd fans - the facts speak for themselves!

My Interests

I play guitar, I enjoy Football (that is, proper Football played with feet, for all those Yankee weeners out there!) I enjoy eating out, and generally hanging around with my pals and having a good laugh! Church obviously. Childish behaviour (within reason) is often a good thing.

I'd like to meet:

Dunno - I reckon I'd freak out if I actually met anyone I really wanted to meet, but I'd maybe spend a day hanging out with Sir Bob Geldof.Or,I'd have a guitar lesson from Dan Huff or someone of his ability,I'd spend a day cooking with Jamie Oliver,I'd have a kick about with Stevie Gerrard,I'd have a laugh with Peter Kay,or maybe I'd learn most from someone like Mother Teresa (albeit not her obviously).

Music:

Anything - but it's gotta groove and should really contain some guitar!!

Movies:

If they contain gambo, sports, music, humour, cars, good fighting moves, and/or a good plot - then they're fine with me. Best if errring on the side of cheese!!

Television:

Don't like to waste my time with it much, but Match of the Day (or similar), Waking the Dead, Top Gear, Silent Witness and most comedy are what I like to watch - not to mention most things of musical theme.

Books:

Who reads these days? Never have the time!! Does Teletext count? The Bible

Heroes:

My friends, my mentors past and present, John Barnes, Dan Huff, Mariah Carey, Ant & Dec, Hannibal from the A-Team, Bo Duke, Panthro, J.C obviously, Matt Tracker, Alfie from 'Highway to Heaven', MacGyver, Sir Bob Geldof, my wife.
