The Flying Dentists Association (FDA) was officially formed on June 5, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas, by a group of thirty dentists.
The purpose of this organization is both professional and social. The Association's Fly-Ins and National Convention provide excellent opportunities for dentist-pilots to fulfill their Continuing Education requirements while flying to beautiful parts of the United States and Canada.
Members of the Flying Dentists are also involved in mission work. Many of our members fly to remote regions of the US and Central and South America to provide dental care for the underpriviledged and underserved. Our members also participate in various other charitable capacities (Angel Flights, RAM, Missions of Mercy, etc).
