5am

Ahh how ridiculous i feel. Basically, this whole thing started out many years ago on a minimal level of technology, and definetly gear. This project known as 5am, is the fruits of my labors since aquiring Sonar 6 P.E. and taken the active intrest since about july of 2007. nothing previous will ever find its way into the playlist of this site. It is the work of me, Sam Jaime, a now 20 year old dreamer, lost in the struggle to dedicate proper time to proper things. It is a form of venting, expression, and love in many instances and is treated as such. I dont necessarily treat it as work, so things get worked on at a snails pace sometimes. I tend to dedicate a day per song to record (anywhere from 5-7 hours straight) and a week to edit, depending on the severety of issues and tinkering needed for sound. I fing myself limited by the lack of adequate drums as I have not the drum chops to match my guitar chops. this leads to drumless songs and lack of diversity within said songs. Always learning i find that the development comes with brutal honesty from all parties involved, so if you have anything to say, by all means, share.we will see where this road takes us and what will become...
