Methodist Preacher's kid. Lost the faith at 13. I have no patience for superstition. Sorry, Dad.
Was in a southern rock band, the Titans , in the late '60s, early '70s. If you're hearing music right now, it's probably me, singing (and playing keyboards on) our 1969 song "Sanctimonious", written by our guitarist, Rick Garner:               "Sanctimonious" lyrics .
Was "famous top-40 radio DJ" for more than a decade. Now, 30 years later, "I R a enGinear" for radio stations. I get my career kicks doing live sound for folk
music concerts at WUMB-FM.

Yeah, I'm proud of it. . . I built all five of it's transmitter sites and all of it's streaming audio systems with these two hands, and what brain I've got left after being in a southern rock band in the '60s (heh). My website is here:

My musical taste is forever locked into the '60s-'70s except for a very few artists, such as
Todd Rundgren. I dunno where that guy's goin', and sometimes I wonder where this week's path will end up, but I like to think I'd have been doin' stuff like this if the Titans hadn't been the last of my music.
At 62 years old, I'm spending my daughter's enheritance on doing things that make me smile. That means (among other things) more than a dozen Todd Rundgren "Arena" and "A Wizard, A True Star" concerts in the last 18 months.
I'm an avowed hedonist. No apologies. Any being capable of creating our existence would want it to be ENJOYED!
