Remarkable video by Fiona Lennon from Panama with song no 11 from the 1966 Revolver album by the Beatles.
What are all these horrible baby dolls and butcher-doctors doing here? Only the real Doctor Robert knows...
The characters appearing in the lyrics are fictional. Any similarities between actions of these characters and the actions of any real people are coincidental.

Glasco Turnpike is initiated by the one and only Doctor Robert that the Beatles have referred to in their song in 1966. He was just two years old when a true miracle happened, making him worldfamous while he and his family didn't even realize this happened. Beware of fraud!!! If you don't believe this, just check all the contradictions regarding the true identity of Doctor Robert. Certainly the Beatles were smart enough in 1966 to avoid an ode to a doctor prescribing amphetamine like Robert Freymann. Being serious musicians, they already knew the severe consequences of using such a destructive drug. And why would John Lennon call himself Doctor Robert? Doctor John would have been more logical if he was carrying around all the pills in the early days. The year 1966 certainly doesn't belong to the Beatles' early days anymore, since they started to record with George Martin. Lennon had a very fine British (or should I say Celtic?), cynical sense of humour and liked to play around with this name. He created a mysterious birdnest, expecting that one day the true identity of Doctor Robert would inevitably be revealed. In the meantime it remained one of the best kept secrets of the Beatles...
As an experienced researcher in the field of psychonautica the Doc has discovered that creating music causes interaction between different parts of the brain and activates these areas in a very convincing way. This leads without any doubt to a higher awareness and flexibility of all the senses and definitely raises the quality of human life. Therefore everybody should try to pass on these invaluable findings to the next generation coming up.
With Glasco Turnpike we are concentrating mainly on the song and the music itself. What helps to make our vision work out right is an independent attitude towards the music business and an experienced do-it-yourself independent management. That is, until the two nightliners - of which one will be used by the band but just as a bus, we will sleep in hotels - and the private airplane become inevitable means of transportation.
The songs in the players are all studio recordings. We like to use it as a kind of journal, informing you about the recent status of our best compositions. Glasco Turnpike prefers raw, unpolished, wild and spontaneous material and is less interested in bloodless high tech, standard rock and cold perfection.
We'ld like to express our appreciation to all the musicians who previously joined the band. Although they are not playing with us anymore, we will never forget what they contributed to our music.
After finishing the first two albums we will be searching for musicians to perform with and locations to play.
Until then Glasco Turnpike is a one man studioband.

Wether we like it or not, we happen to be many years ahead of our time by creating the sound of Beathoven Mod City, Independopolis in the virtual state of New Taxaondria somewhere around 2020. Taxandria used to be the land between the rivers Maas and Schelde around 900 A.C. and is now situated in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Beathoven Mod City is a musical part of Eindhoven that tries to cultivate the modern way of life of the New Taxandrian. IndependoPolis is the prophetic green metropolis that came into existence while interacting with five cities in the area: Eindhoven, 's-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, Helmond and Deurne.
