Hey, it's me Kristi. I'm 28 years old born and raised in Johnstown, PA. My husband, George, is 31 years old. We live together along with our beautiful 4 year old daughter, Marissa Renee. She was born on July 27, 2005 and was 7lbs 14oz. 21 inches long. Pics of us below :-) Just a little info on Marissa. If you look at my pictures, you will see she is wearing glasses. Glasses at the age of 1. Reason: She was born with a cataract on her right eye which didn't develop until she was 9 months old. Immediately, her pediatrician noticed which referred us to a pediatric ophthalmologist in Altoona. We saw him 2 days later. He agreed it was a cataract but he didn't handle children under the age of 3. Therefore we had to be referred to a pediatric ophthalmologist in Pittsburgh. Closest one is in Murrysville. 1 1/2 hours away. We went to him 1 week later. 1 week after that my daughter had her surgery at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, May 10, 2006 to remove the cataract. Surgery went terrific. Then we had to attempt to put a contact lens in her eye. We tried our hardest but that didn't work. Therefore, she had to have another surgery August 9, 2006 at Children's Hospital again. This was to get a permanent lens implant put in that right eye for her vision. Again that surgery went fine, but now she has to wear glasses on top of that implant. Just in case you were wondering!!! :) Well, now I'm a stay at home mom, while George is an over the road truck driver. We got married on February 16,2008. I'm finally a wife. Woohoo!!! I love my family so much!!!
