Bushki is a solo musician who sees himself as a cosmopolitan as he loves to travel and as he has already lived in Dublin and Madrid as well. The world is his living room. This is reflected in his music and lyrics.
He started playing music as a child. By the age of 15 he played in an alternative rock band where he stayed for several years, playing live gigs and gathering his first studio experience.
In 1999, after the band split up he decided to go his own way and started to do everything by himself. His first demo included some dark ambient songs. With the "Strength from within" demo his musical style evolved to electronic rock.
In 2004 Bushki released his first album "Autumn stories". The style was at this time already Pop/Rock with latino influences on a few songs.
The song “Tú y el viento” from this album was released as a remix on the 2006 Loop Doctors album “Family Affairs” which was an album of collaborations between the Loop Doctors and other artists.
This style continued on his next album “International” which was partially recorded and produced in Madrid. The other part of the album was recorded in Vienna together with the Loop Doctors mastermind Waldherr.
The album includes rock songs as well as acoustic songs and reflects Bushki’s experiences abroad, his dreams, moments, emotions as well as critical political songs.
