About Me

- Joe Tatton - Piano / Vocals, Eryl Roberts - Drums, Garry Jackson - Upright Bass
Inspired in part by the songs of Mississipi jazz pianist Mose Allison and with a mix of Jazz / Soul covers and originals, Joe's Allison is a breath of fresh air with its swing & groove & great songs. Joe is currently on tour on Organ and Piano with "The New Mastersounds" having played the New Orleans Jazz Festival and Fuji Rock, Japan and has worked with other artists such as Andy Sheppard, Corinne Bailey Rae, Steve Parry Big Band from Hell and The Haggis Horns among many others. Leeds College of Music lecturer Garry Jackson has lended his great bass backing to a number of top UK jazz musicians including Alan Barnes, Dave Newton, Tina May and Julian Joseph. Manchester's phenomonal Eryl Roberts has played with everyone from Jim Mullen to Chuck Berry then Pete King to Damon Albarn. Stay tuned and catch "Joe's Allison" performing this year...:)

second us nms trip

Writing this in Aspen after a gig last night at Belly Up club. was difficult for us a bit becasuse of altitude! - about 9000 feet and there was an oxygen mask we could use back stage which was useful....
