There is no such thing as an afterlife; it’s only the current life. You die, you’re dead, that is the absolute end, and in one hundred years from now no one will care who you are or what you did. That might sound sad to some, but to me it’s wonderful. Life is short and then you die. That means there is NO time to waste, and that you must enjoy what you are doing at all times. It means slow down, and enjoy the simply things, enjoy every sunrise and every sunset, not letting one day go to waste. It means doing things on your own time, having goals, achieving those goals, but enjoying the each minute you spend getting where you're going, not waiting for life to begin once you get there.
