Everyone wants to know who is Yung Reek. Well, Monriko Mequel Clements (Yung Reek) was born January 3rd in Chocolate City aka Washington DC. Music has been his passion since a young age. He grew up listening to artists such as Jay-Z, Fabolous, Jermaine Dupri, Outkast, and Goodie Mob, whom are some of his influences. He confirms that Jay-Z and Fabolous are the two artists who had the most influence on him. He stated "they have sold millions of records and sold out many shows, I want to experience the feeling of selling that many records and much more."
At the age of 15, Reek moved to A-town (Atlanta, GA). While he lived in Atlanta, he performed at many venues to get his name out. In doing so, Reek has established a descent fanbase in Atlanta, and all throughout the south as well. His hit single "Do Ya Thang Ma" has been played on Atlanta radio stations, as well as DC radio stations.
