In the beginning, there was nothing...
From that nothing arose a vortex, and from it, came forth the first Lord of the Black Axe, Dahus...
And for many thousands of years, Dahus wandered the cosmos. But Dahus longed for a world to call his own. So he created a ball of rock and flame, and when it cooled, he called forth the waters to create the oceans and lakes, and he brought forth foliage. Then he created all the birds of the air, all the fish of the sea, and all the beasts of the land. But still, he wasn't satisfied...
So out of clay he crafted two statues; one of man, and one of woman, in his image, then struck them with his axe. And from the fragments of the shattered statues sprung men and women to populate the land...
But when the axe struck, it had an unexpected result. For all the negativity was mixed with the raw power of Dahus's act to create a mighty demon...
The mighty demon ravaged the land and tortured their people for many years. Dahus led his peoples against the demon time and time again, but they could not defeat it. So Dahus sacrificed himself to lock up the beast below the Earth for 10,000 years...
Knowing that the demon would rise again, Dahus created two prophets who would arise to combat the demon when he returned...The Lords of the Black Axe...
Ten thousand years later, the demon arose from his angry slumber and the prophets rose up to meet him...
May the battle begin...
