His natural talent is DJing, his technique stems from having a true understanding of the equipment. His experience in electrical and sound engineering makes him an asset not only as a DJ to JAMKAM but also as a sound technician to other sound systems. Further proving his skills and ambition, while garnering a BA from New York..s City College Joel T., very shortly, assumed the position of general manager at the College radio station. Hyper Flexus is the DJ and Joel T. is the electrical and sound engineer. Flexus has earned his name as the reggae/ calypso king of JAMKAM but is not limited to that genre. When first witnessing his unique style of mixing Hip-Hop/R&B/Reggae and Calypso you are intrigued. His technique is like a turntablist at a battle, ferocious yet effortless, showy but entertaining.
