In physics, dynamics refers to the effects of forces on the motion of objects. In music, dynamics refers to the softness or loudness of a sound or note. The term is also applied to the written or printed musical notation used to indicate dynamics. Dymics is usually marked by continuous and productive activity or change.
In biology a relict is an organism that at an earlier time was abundant in a large area but now occurs at only one or a few small areas,surviving in an environment that has undergone considerable change, or a species that survives while related species go extinct. In ecology, an ecosystem which originally ranged over a large expanse, but is now narrowly confined, may be termed a relict.
