HEDDROKK Productions is a combination of bassist Stephen Lashley born in the UK of Barbadian parents and drummer David Simmons born in Detroit of Trinidadian parents who's combined talent has enabled them to create, produce,tour & record with such artists as Stephen,Damian,Kymani, & Julian Marley. Deborah Gibson, Martika (Toy Soldiers), KC & The Sunshine Band, Kathy Sledge(Sister Sledge), Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston, Brian Howe(Bad Co.), Ron Wood(Rolling Stones) just to name a few!The duo has performed with major artists on numerous television shows such as The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show, B.E.T. On Jazz, The Wayne Brady Show, The Ellen Show, Graham Nash Show, Toronto TV, MTV Brazil, The Craig Kilbourn Show, BBC London. Additionally, HEDDROKK has recently completed a project for Discovery Channel's upcoming animated series, Animal Planet and produced a track aired on BET on Jazz in St. Lucia 2006.With British, American and island roots, HEDDROKK is also becoming a leading production house for Jamaican Reggae music. In combination with Rootical Records, HEDDROKK produced the rhythm, GrassRoots, which featured artists including Turbulence, IWayne, Gyptian, Fire Star, IWill, Lutan Fyah, Harmony and numerous other artists, which received numerous radio and street play both in Jamaica, on the leading radio stations, and internationally. Their most recent rhythm, the Cruising Altitude, also in conjunction with Rootical Music, is now receiving regular radio rotation on Irie FM, though in its early stages, and currently features Turbulence and Higher Trod, Fire Star, Pressure, Harmony and King David with plans to voice IWayne, Chuck Fenda, Gyptian, Spectacular and more. Additionally, HEDDROKK is producing albums for Rootical Artists, the LavaGround Warrior Fire Star and the baritone, IWill. The Finatic/Empire Records/Universal Artist, Trini, has also recorded with HEDDROKK. They are the producers of the track, Jump On It, from her album, Like No Other.
