Born 1976 in Bratislava/Slovakia. At the age of 8, I started to play flute just for fun, and 5 Years later got my first sax from my parents (thanx guys) which was even more fun for me (not for my neighbours). Between years 1990 – 1994 I studied at Business Academy, finished it with school-leaving exam, and still took saxophone lessons. In year 1993 I won the 1st Prize on a National Slovakian woodwind competition and a year later I continued studying classical saxophone at the State Conservatory in Bratislava. There was also my first touch with jazz, and I participated in several great jazz workshops, as Jazz Workshop in Erfurt, Germany, with Zbigniew Namyslowski, then The Berklee Workshop in Perugia, Italy with Bill Pierce, Greg Badolato, and the international Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ) in Santiago De Compostella with David Liebman, Claudio Fasoli, Karlheinz Miklin and more. In 1999 I was accepted to study at Music University in Graz, switching to tenor saxophone, studying with Karlheinz Miklin and Heinrich von Kalnein. At this time I am a part of different music formations in Graz and Bratislava. You are now marked on my profile visitor map!
