Dylan Peters has been surrounded by music for 22 years now. Growing up with his father, Mike Peters of Shaky Jake and Tower Suite, he was exposed to the local music scene at a young age. At the age of 13 he decided to pick up the guitar and start writing his own songs. After many years of playing in various rock bands, he decided to put down the electric, stop touring and pick up an acoustic guitar. Now, instead of focusing on writing his own songs, although still writing originals, he focuses more on taking classic songs and putting his own twist on them. At first this was challenging with just an acoustic guitar. But with the help of his best friend Pat Bechtel on bass and his elaborate pedalboard which includes octave, overdrive, delay, wah and looping pedals, he was able to create a unique and fresh sound.
