About Me

SirenBox :
After taking inspiration from a variety of sources - Reggae, Northern Soul, Ska, Electro and Funk - the soundtrack to his childhood - SirenBox started to experiment with sounds and sequencers, and after what seemed like 7 minutes, he looked up and had lost 7 years to Cubase, strange FX, super phasers, filter tweaks, 12-bit samples, percentages of swing, 909 kicks and 808 claps, and funky analogue acid lines. And now, 5 years later, it sounds like DJ Shadow remixing The Aphex Twin in Kraftwerk's studio...
Dub Illuminati :
Born from a Dub Soundsystem in the mid 90s, Dub Illuminati was the natural extension of three school friends love of the classic Jamaican rhythms pioneered by artists such as King Tubby, Scientist, Prince Jammy, Lee "Scratch" Perry and Mad Professor. Deep throbbing bass, hypnotic musical rhythms, pounding drums and multi-layered effects, Dub Illuminati's sound retains the feel and vibe of the original dub tracks from the 70s, but with contemporary technological flourishes that keep the sound fresh and alive in the 21st century.
Audio science, dubwise.
