People who are kind, interesting, and fun.
My favorite is classical and opera, but I love all kinds of music, including jazz, rock, country, blues, Tin Pan Alley, folk, and others. In classical my favorite composers are Beethoven, Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Verdi, Puccini, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky. I'm also big collector of Judy Garland and Elvis Presley music and memorabilia. I like movie soundtracks too.
" My favorite movies are 2001: A Space Odyssey, North By Northwest, Vertigo, Meet Me in St. Louis, The Wolf Man, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Fearless Vampire Killers, Bringing Up Baby, Dr. Stangelove, Sons of the Desert, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Forbidden Planet, The Bank Dick, Fahrenheit 451, and The Haunting (1963 version).
"My favorite TV shows are Red Dwarf (British sci-fi), news, original Star Trek, original Outer Limits, history & other documentaries, Wild On, All in the Family, Andy Griffith Show, and The Ray Bradbury Theater.
I read a lot of types of books, including history, government, travel, biographies, science fiction, and others, but my very favorite books at the moment are Childhood's End and The City and the Stars, both by Arthur C. Clarke (and both science fiction); The Philosophy of Humanism by Corliss Lamont; Founding Brothers by Joseph Ellis (American history during the revolutionary period); The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury (science fantasy); and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (novel).
Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov (both science and science fiction writers)
