Rashiid “Big Shiid†Coleman hails from Philly. He is the husband to his beloved wife Shelia and the father to two amazing children, Caleb (9) and Kyla (7).Rashiid comes from a rich musical heritage and attributes his migratory youth to his eclectic and expansive musical expression. He started playing the drums, while at a session with his father, at the age of 3 yrs. old and has been following his musical passions ever since. He is an incredible musician, producer, singer and song writer and is currently working on his debut album.He feels blessed to be a part musical production. He spearheads an ecclectic bunch known as the Regal Music Group (R.M.G.). His musical home is located at 6100 W. Columbia Ave. in Philadelphia, PA, and he has derived his musical sound from his life-long love affair with music.Rashiid has been fortunate to experience a number of awesome opportunities in his, still young, musical career. He has performed at the Academy of Music, the Keswick Theatre, and the Robin Hood Dell East, all in Philly, as well as a southern tour of the Carolinas. He has opened shows for Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, Commissioned, Yolanda Adams, Kenny Lattimore, and Jessie Powell and has accompanied Ben Tankard. He and his partner Dennis have a placement on Philly’s own Bahamadia’s new album, “Good Rap Music†and Rashiid performed the background vocals on the record "So Serious Part 2". Rashiid has successfully launched his own indie label, Regality Records, LLC (www.regalityrecords.com) and has released their first artist's debut album. It is entitled I'm In Love With You and the artist is an 20 yrs. old phenom, Darius Coleman.They are also in the process of producing records on Freedom Christian Bible Fellowship’s first release, as well as a number of other local and national artists.Big Shiid, as he is affectionately referred to, takes a no nonsense approach to life. His love, charisma, integrity and passion all come through in his music. He is a purist and is determined to see the reemergence of real music. He is not just interested in making hit records but he desires to leave a legacy of classic music that will span the ages. He is about to take the world by storm and aspires to empower and ennoble people all around the world.
