I wrote this poem for my friend Michelle who's husband David was part of one of the first units deployed after 9/11. I decided to share it with you guys and add a pic of my wonderful husband!
Me? hmmmmm, well let's see, I'm Mom to 3 of the most wonderful little people on the face of the earth.(yeah, I know, I'm biased) They bring me so much joy! Yes, a little gray hair too, but mostly joy and laughter! The way they look at life and its wonders still amazes me. They can tug at my heartstrings like know one else!I'm Wife to the most wonderful man on earth. (again, I know,biased) I'm married to a SSG in the US Army. He is currently serving in Afghanistan and I miss him terribly. He's a wonderful person and a dedicated husband and father! Who could ask for more. He's my best friend and some of the most wonderful nights in my life are spent right here playing games with him and watching movies! He makes me laugh right when I need to laugh and holds me when laughing can't fix the problem!Oh and let me not forget my lovely oldest Daughter, Jennifer, she's a true joy and has been the star of my life since she was 7! Now, she's all grown up and has a baby of her own! I LOVE YOU JEN!!!!!
And I'm Friend to some of the earths most wonderful people too!!! Wow, I've got it made!
