Hey all!
My name is Abed (incase you missed the big flaming banner up above)
Im gonna tell you a bit about myself here, because I feel that telling about yourself and your personality using your own words is a lot more personal and interesting to read than some copied and pasted ‘Personality Quiz’ of some form… cuz come on, how accurate (much less, true) do you think those things are? Have you ever taken one that gave you a NEGATIVE result? (*DING!* Results: Wow, you aren’t the healthiest person on the world are you? Go sober up and rethink your life you freak…PS your friends don’t really love you’) Yea you get the point, haha
Besides, how much more interesting is it when you look up someone, and there’s something to actually read there that gives you a better impression/idea of who they really are? And my final point... this sections IS labled 'ABOUT ME' right? Why not tell you about me in it then? Seems logical enough huh?

Ok enough ranting…. Time to get down to business
* Im a San Jose native
* Im a civil engineering major, recently graduated from San Jose State University with intent to return for graduate studies
* Im currently working as a private consultant with my partner in our start-up engineering and construction services company. I still do a lot of the same old stuff i did in previous construction jobs, but my horizons have expanded some. Ask me if you're curious as to what exactly i'm talking about
* I love the outdoors… or, just being out of the house in general… whether it be going to work, going out with friends, going out just to get away from things, going to the beach, playing sports, or (believe it or not) going out and doing something else productive
* I love arts and music... the musician’s instrument (guitar, piano, drums, voice, or even scratching table) is their brush, their imagination is their pallet and paint, and the world is their canvass… in other words, it doesn’t matter what kind of music you play/like, as long as its your own heart pouring out of you when you make it
I also draw (on occasion, when I'm really inspired to)
I also compose music and write stories / poetry (again, when inspired)
* I have awesome friends, and they're all awesome (this isnt in any particular order... so dont be upset at me if you're not at the top, or not on here... I dont love you any less than the rest of these people)
BEN:
He's my best friend in the whole world, and NOBODY could ever take his place. My earliest memories of life were with him. He's the closest thing I could have to a real brother.
BROOKE:
Brooke is my amazing, wonderful, beautiful girlfriend. The ways we are similar are countless, the times we share are priceless, the potential is endless, and the feelgins are boundless. I don't recall ever feeling the same sense of connection, friendship, and closeness as strong and deep as I do with her. I love you.
HEATHER:
Heather has always been, and will always be one of the greatest friends I've ever had. She's stood by me, held my hand, pushed me, slapped me, educated me, laughed with me, and inspired me through so many times of my life (and hers). I miss you so much, girl. I love you.
TIFFANY:
Tiff is pretty much one of my best friends... ever... she knows me a lot more than most other ppl, and I know I could count on her to be there in times of need.
JARED:
Of all the friends I’ve made through the net, he’s the one I’ve known the longest, and grown closest to… We finally had the honor of meeting and hanging out with eachother this past summer, and it was a phukkin awesome time. The Two Crazy Dudes prophecy came to form, and we rokked ur phukkin socks off.
PATRICIA:
My great friend Patricia... I have nothing bad to say to her, or about her... She is a very strong willed, independant woman. Stress, trials, and tribulations can't hold her back from anything. I admire that strength about her. We are practically one in the same, yet completely different people. I don't know another like her, nor do I think I will find another.
BONNIE:
Bonnie is a hella fun friend. Haven't known her nearly as long as I've knwon most people on my page, but she is most definitely up ther eon my list of favorites :-) Whole lotta energy and fun-ness from this lil one ;-)
KELSO:
A woman of many names. Kelso, Kels, Kelso-matic, Kelso-licious, to name a few. She is the physical embodiment of all that is cool, rioughteous, and downright awesome! She rocks my socks then hands me another pair, so she can promptly begin rocking those off as well. Can't wait to meet her someday.
DELIAH:
Deliah is probably the friend I've known on here the longest (aside from Ben of course). We were classmates and friends all through highschool. Funny thing is, we've talked more in these past few months than we did all of highschool, lol!
HELENA:
She and I have a lot in common, and its also nothing but fun times when we’re together. Whether it be hanging out at a fast-food joint or at home talking about everything and nothing, or out at the beach all night with friends, it's always good times. And she’s an authentic BRITISH! How do you beat that?
BEK:
Bek is by far one of the coolest girls I ever known. She plays music, wears aviators (instant cool-ifier), funnier than a slinky on an escalator, and she’s an authentic AUSTRALIAN! Beat THAT!
MICAH:
Micah is the frikkin jolly green giant back at the office. He's a hella fun, cool dude to hang out with, honest, earnest worker, and always good for support and some form of inspiration (if it suits ur fancy, he prolly has advice, or at least a joke, about it). Another relatively accurate way to describe Micah is.... BIG PERV
SARAH:
I’ve known her her entire life. We used to live together. I love her. And she’s my sister :-D You wish your sister was as cool as mine
SCOTTIE
We had a speech class together, and the teacher hated us both… Hey its an interesting start to a friendship right? Hahaha! Awesome dude to hang out with cuz he knows how to have fun, he’s a great musician, and he has a really learned perspective on life and the world. Recipe for an awesome person.
CHRIS:
Chris is a guy I really look up to. When he wants something, he gets it himself. He can read into people and situations like no other. He knows how to buckle down and get shit done too, no slacking off with this dude. He’s a very cool guy, and hella fun to be with as well.
and last but not least
LAUREN:
Used to be my favorite highschooler... except she's all graduated and on to bigger and better things in college now :-D She’s smart, witty, mature, and if you looked up ‘cute’ in the dictionary, it would have her picture. She loves all the classic rock that I LOVE (instant brownie points), and in her own words, she ‘Would rather get the Led out than get her freak on’.
* Upon first impression, you might get the idea that I'm a very recluse, shy person cuz I dont talk a lot, or as much as some others would. That's true to an extent, cuz I really am a pretty quiet guy. The more you get to know me, the more you'll find me openning up.
* I often use the etc dots (...) at the end of a lot of sentences/messages... I dont kno why I do that, but I guess its a little cooler than just a plain . or no punctuation at all, right?
* I use myspace.. a LOT... cuz its a fun time killer, and a pretty convenient way to express oneself and network with friends, or meet new people. But being that I'm a young adult, and I'm supposedly more mature, I dont take some things all too seriously on here. Such as, if I'm not on your Top 8-16-20-4986397 (or whatever u have), I dont care, you have your reasons for choosing whoever it is you want to choose. As for me, I have no heirarchy/order of friends for my Top friends (just as i didnt with my list of friends up above), I just put them up as i went along. The list is constantly changing, and people will come and go. So again, if you're not up there, or at a lower spot, dont feel bad, it doesnt mean I dont like you as much as the others.
* I have my list of likes and don't-likes... Im not gonna waste my time typing them all out, or waste ur time reading them, so Im just gonna let you figure them out as you get to know me better
