We're told, among other things, that the four of us (as the collective My Escapade) have become best known for our haunting and uplifting live performances along with our experimentation with alluring melodies and tribal beats. Our sound is often described as soulful, alternative rock, reminiscent of early Coldplay and Jeff Buckley, with tributes to more modern sounds evocative of Muse. Enough said, we think we'll leave that for you to decide...
Tasmania is home to some of the nation's finest artists and writers, along with some of the world's most formidable wines, not to mention the state's acclaimed natural beauty. We hope that My Escapade is a musical reflection of the many elements that of our small homeland-state intertwined with our mythical wildernessesque upbringing.
Recently we've supported Little Red and Dukes of Windsor on recent tours of the Tasmania. We have also taken the stage at Make Poverty History, Mella Rock and Breath of Life festivals.

My Escapade consists of brothers Jason P. Lucas (Vocal/Guitar) and Simon Lucas (Percussion) and close friends Alan Forest (Keys) Chris van Tholen (Bass/Vocal).
