The Doolitlle pixies tribute was first initiated by bassist Keren Nitzan, who seeked Israeli players and performers who'd like to form the first Israeli pixies tribute band. With Hanoch Rahimi (who keren found via an Israeli classified ad) they both searched for a drummer and a lead vocalist who can sing Charles' vocals and play guitar.
Keren offered the 'position' to Aviv Azerad, who liked the idea and brought Roy Solomon, and later on Jake Shraga to play the drums.
Following several months of intensive rehearsals, the Doolittles put up a live show consisting of all The Pixies hits, setting a goal to try and deliver the true feeling of The Pixies live show to the Israeli audience .
