About Me

+++ Peter Brian Wood +++ Peter Brian Wood +++ MyGen Profile Generator I play bass and do backing vocals for Austrian heavy rock band SOULGUN. I’ve spent the last decade on stage with various RockBands including TEX N' WHISKEY, PATIENCE, PURPLE SNAKE and PERFECT STRANGERS.
First picked up a bass guitar at the age of 16 and from that time on there was no way back... I guess that any hope of a normal life got kicked in the ass at about the same time.
What should I say... I’ve got long light brown hair, I wear torn jeans, chucks and leather jackets and I like to drink Jack Daniels with Cola and BEEEEEEEEEEEEEER. In my free time I like to meet new people you can hang around and have a good time with. I’ve got some real good friends and I’m very deep into partying.
There are 3 people that have been influencing me for years: Duff McKagan, Nikki Sixx and Johnny Griparic.
I have 3 loves in my life: TATTOOS, MOTORCYCLES and of cause FENDER JAZZ BASSES... I have loads of 4 stringed babies as I'm assured that you can never have too many... I primarily use late 60s and early 70s FENDER Jazz Basses, FENDER 60s Custom Jazz Basses and FENDER Jazz Bass Specials from the mid80s. I play 'em through my AMPEG SVT-AV full stack, what really kicks ass.
anything left to say???
LIVE LOUD, LOVE DEEP & ROCK HARD!!!
