THE LIFE:
Atraxx Tha Araknyd was born Douglas Charles Brian Frost On the 08/04/1983 At the Marter Hospital in Newcastle, Australia.
Diagnosed With Epilepsy, A.D.H.D & Asthma among other things and raised through forster home to forster home from the age of 8. Having a pretty tough life, he promised himself that no matter what he will always use the xperiences he has in life to help him path a way for a better future.
After Witnessing a mate commite suicide, a close friend passing by and rape by the age of 11. Doug then moved to he's fathers at the age of 12.
Where he hit depression and started dealing drugs.
That Is were he was introduced to hip-hop in a big way.
Hanging around he's mates who were older then him (Except one)
and listining to artist's such as NAS, Tupac, A Tribe Called Quest, Naughty By Nature, KRS-ONE and the list could go on. Doug Fell in luv with the music and ever since then has been doin sumthin that associates wit it in a way.
Coming along way from rappin over a looped beat from a toy keyboard and using a old tape recorder. he realesed what he called a "A Demo For The Future" .
It wasn't till he was the age of 21 were he decided that he wanted to make this he's career. Starting of as just mixing and doing mash-ups for DJ mates to play at the local clubs. He then progressed to Producing & Making Beats
were he is still learning the craft.
After a year of trying to master beats, he decided to start trying to perfect he's flow , now a year on in he has every one talking bout him, having alot of passion for the music , he is alwayz giving 100% at what he doe's and knows he can only go forward.
Currently working on he's DEBUT mixtape cd, featuring some of today's hottest artist's incl: Torcha (Of Hyjak N' Torcha), NJE (Aust.), Str8-Up T (Aust.), Tappa'C (Aust.), Beat Theory (Aust.), Flam-A-Bull (Aust.), Konflikt (NZ), The Kumpnee (Aust.), Trubl (Aust.), Trace (Aust.), Sadiztik (UK.) & Labyrinth (Aust.) and more.. This mixtape is set to be big, With all ready having local hip-hop stores wanting a copy. Now residing from Newcastle, Australia and Traveling Back And Forth Between Newcastle & Sydney Recording.
