Hello All, My name is Darren Garrett but people call me DeeG.
I play and teach golf for a living and enjoy watching movies and wrestling.
I made the Quarter Finals of the Australian Amateur Golf Championship in 1999 and was a Team Member of Western Australian Senior Team that won 1999 Australian Interstate Teams Matches. I reached a handicap of +3 before starting my traineeship in 2003.
I am at the moment deciding whether to play on tour (either here in OZ or Japan) or teach full time.I would love to become a head coach at a US College.I live on one of the holes at the Vines Resort.
The Vines has hosted the Heineken Classic, Johnnie Walker Classic in 2006 and The Lexus Cup in December this year. Any pro golfers that are looking for a caddy when a pro tournament comes to the Vines, feel free to contact me. When I was an amateur, I won the Club Championships 3-times in a row (1999,2000,2001) on both the Heineken and Johnnie Walker Courses.My favourite wrestlers are The Rock, HHH, The Undertaker and John Cena. I also loved Eddie Guerrero(RIP). He always made me laugh.I have also written a movie script, that would be good to actually make, and am currently writting another.
