ENDZONEso it's starts in 1991.originally jody,frank, joey ,and original bass player bob hafer.jody and bob had previously played in ""atom west "together and have been friends since 7th grade. joey ,frank and bob had just been in a band called" the mob". all knowing each other pretty well.endzone was (and in it's heart still is)an original band.writing from the word go and were quickly playing their music in clubs generally used to seeing nothing but cover bands. as they began to make a name for themselves ,musically the band and bob were growing apart. in 1992 john morales from the band kraken would replace bob.this would become the defining line-up in endzone.musically adventurous,tearing down the boundries between rock,metal,rap, funk ,punk,and industrial.gaining a huge local following and playing shows in jersey and new york as well.the fisrt demo "the people's champ" got the interest of some record companies and the band soon started working with todd heft of wzzo as manager. showcasing for the labels here and in new york city. cbgb's soon became an almost monthly trip .when no labels bit,they took it upon themselves to release the cd "punt". opening for major acts like manowar,dream theater, the ramones, and zebra.the cd got a ton of press and positive reviews and the bands photo and lyrics were featured in "hit parader" magazine .in 1996 after working on what would be a second cd the band broke up.personal and professional frustrations aside, they all remained friends. in 2000 joey,frank,and jody began to rehearse and write again.deceiding to also make a go of the cover scene in the valley. dave joined in 2002.adding amazing harmonies and super solid bass playing ,the band started to play out again.playing more cover songs they felt another voice and guitar was needed. billy trexler was a long time friend of the band ,and made a perfect fit. endzone now plays both original and cover shows. releasing the cd "thrown"in 2006, and playing mostly punked -up 80's cover songs.
