About Me

JUDE ROBERTS has a unique ability to convey emotion to an audience, and even tough crowds tend to fall silent when Jude sings. His songs are gems of folk craft: melody and dynamic chord changes are front and center, lyrics are insightful and all of these aspects are brought to life by a voice that is strong, pure and clear. His debut full-length record is entitled Stained Glass Afterglow - his metaphor for the spiritual insights attained through the window of experience.Having recently performed as a Premiere Showcase Artist at Folk Alliance Region West (Anaheim, CA) and a Tri-Centric Showcase artist at Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (Kerhonkson NY), Jude continues to write, perform and tour in order to connect with his audience.Jude has shared bills with a number of noteworthy musicians, including Karan Casey (Solas), Dar Williams (with whom he performed), and Pete Seeger. The hallmarks of Jude’s work -memorable, lilting melodies, evocative lyrics, strong vocals, and solid guitar playing- combine to create a unique, exciting journey for acoustic and folk listeners everywhere.....
