Well most of you on here already know me but I needed to update my write-up so bear with me….My name is Jessica (most people call me Jessie or Hessica Linda or Corina….lol); I’m 24 years old, Puerto Rican, CT born and raised, a college graduate, a working woman, and a girl with lots of hopes and dreams. Throughout my life, I’ve had some tough times and the only thing that’s gotten me through is my belief in God and in His precious son, Jesus Christ. I thank Him for dying on the cross for my sins and rising again so I could have eternal life. Without Jesus, I don’t know where I would be but I’m grateful for where I am right now. Well the biggest thing that’s happening for me right now is my trip to Bolivia. I was originally supposed to go in October, but because of political issues in the country my trip has been postponed to March 2009. I’ll be traveling with a group to meet the children we sponsor through an organization called Compassion International. I will get to meet my little girl, her family, and also have the chance to help out in her community. I’m very excited for this opportunity and can’t wait till March! Besides that, I’m an Avon representative and enjoy selling Avon products to make some extra cash and get some discounts. I’m also part of an organization called Real Ministries. This past August (2008), we had our first ever event which was a youth conference and featured Josh McDowell as a speaker. It was pretty awesome and we’re already planning for next year’s youth conference. The purpose of the conference is to empower teens with the tools they need to share the gospel with people in their schools and communities.
