I was born in Austin, Texas in 1979 and I have lived here ever since. I have done a good bit of exploring the world, but Austin is a very unique home and worth returning to. There is more diverse culture here than many other places. I have several guitars and a banjo and a mandolin and now a fiddle that occupy much of my time. I also play just about any instrument I can get my hands on. I have been writing poetry from as early as 5 years old and I have written and self published two books of my poems (see examples in my blog). Of late I have not been writing much poetry as I have focused more on writing songs and singing them for my friends. I have been working for a while on an album of my songs which I hope to finish soon. I have some ideas I have thought about putting into screenplays and novels as well.
