I'm Carlos, 17-year-old Miami Lakes resident and a senior at nearby Barbara Goleman Senior High School.
To start off with, my room is decorated like an airport gate. There are model airplanes and aviation memorabillia in pretty much every square inch of it. Half of the photos I have on here are of airplanes, airports, or some combination of the two. I keep a blog of my exploits at the airport. If you couldn't tell by now, I'm a self-confessed aviation addict. Naturally, I want to pursue a career either as a pilot or with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. I'm not ruling out some time in the United States Air Force, either.
Interests aside, I like to think of myself as a laid back person, once you put aside my obsessive need for organization (which is useful, I swear!). I tend to make friends easily, which I'm assuming means that I'm fun to be around. I've got a quick wit, and I'm never one to pass up a chance at some good self-deprecating humor. Needless to say, I'm definitely the type of person that can laugh at themself.
That being said, if you like me, then you're bound to like my friends (they're much better than me, anyway!). They're a great bunch of people: warm, loving, trusting, and somewhat insane. It's never a dull moment when I'm in their company!
